About Me

I specialize in providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other trauma-related disorders.  I also have extensive experience  in the treatment of substance use disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders.

I began providing outpatient mental health treatment at a mental health agency in the Boston area in 2007 as part of my second clinical internship in graduate school.  I continued working there until I moved back to western Massachusetts in 2012.

Since returning to the area, I continued working in outpatient mental health for a local agency until I opened my own practice in early 2021.  I have held various supervisory roles since 2014.

I have been licensed (#116110) by the state of Massachusetts as a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) since 2010.

I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA in 2003. I earned my master of social work degree from Simmons University in Boston, MA in 2008.

I have had extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and also have training in Internal Family Systems (IFS).

I am a Western MA native living  in Hampshire County with my spouse and cat.  I spend my free time cooking, gardening, reading, working on restoring my nearly 100-year-old home, and taking photos (all photos on the site are mine!).  My pronouns are she/her.
